A new kitchen updates a house instantly and adds a significant amount of value to the property. It can also bring a great deal of pleasure to all concerned!

At Villa Image, we love granite or stone counter tops, natural oak, painted finish or glossy finished doors and stainless steel appliances—but we are always on the look out for new styles and innovations.

Our Italian stone suppliers have a fantastic range of granites and natural stones to choose from for counter tops.

There is also a wide range of stratified, man made counter tops that can look amazing and are, of course, hard-wearing. One of the photos in the slideshow to your right shows a central island in stratified oak with the rest of the kitchen counter tops in a dark stone.

We are also delighted to be able to supply the full range of Brittania (known as Ilve in Europe) range cookers, ovens, hobs and extractor units, if required.

Kitchens are often the heart of the home—even a holiday home—so make sure that your kitchen fulfills all your requirements, aesthetically and practically.

Updating a bathroom or two can make all the difference to your house. Creating a superb master bedroom suite can add enormous value when and if you eventually re-sell and can add to your rentable value too. Not forgetting, of course, your own personal comfort...

The most requested style of bathroom is the look shown here. Natural stone, white sanitary ware, sometimes stone sinks, suspended WC’s and bidets, streamlined stainless steel taps all create the look, which is, of course, easy to clean and appeals to most tastes. The stone on the walls is, in most cases, the same stone that runs through the house as floor covering, but filled and smooth. It can be sandblasted for shower bases to create a non-slip surface or stone mosaics are often used.

Nowadays, there is a huge choice of natural stones and granites available. We work with Italian stone suppliers and our clients are welcome to visit their depot to see their ranges. We pay particular attention to lighting and often use glass shower "walls" in order to maximise natural light in the shower and prevent that closed in feeling.

Of course, ceramic tiled bathrooms can also look wonderful. The use of terra cotta freizes against plain, white tiles can have a marvellous effect - new look Provençale. Again, an enormous choice and variety of ceramic tiles are on offer locally. In fact, our region is famous for them!
